Our Angel Tree Program is in full swing again this year. Ministries and members who are interested in giving a child a reason to smile can now make selections to brighten that special child’s day. This is just another way to show the love of Christ to those in need. We ask that each child receive a clothing item or items and a fun item. Ministries are asked to please assist with at least one family. Please turn donations into the office by Wednesday, December 5th. Thank you in advance for all of your kindness.

The Movement will be going out to Carrington Place of Chesapeake in December for outreach ministry. We would like to be a blessing to the residents for the Christmas holiday. If you would like to donate any items listed please bring them to the church office by November 30, 2018. Lotion, powder, socks, chapstick, deodorant, shampoo, puzzle books, word search, soap, toothbrush, kleenex, toothpaste, comb and brush, baby wipes and flushable towelettes.

All high school seniors who plan to apply for the SMMBC scholarship must be actively participating in a ministry during their senior year. If you have any questions please see sister Mhikka Carcana-Harris or any other member of the scholarship ministry.
