September is National Blood Cancer Awareness Month. You could save a life by becoming a donor in the National Marrow Donor Program. To become a donor is a simple procedure that can be done in the privacy of your own home. The actual transplant process is usually an outpatient procedure that takes place at a Red Cross sanctioned medical facility. Team Cure It will host a Breast Cancer Awareness event on October 4th from 8:30am – 12:00 noon at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Please come out and support the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Initiative.” Volunteers are needed to assist with this event.
