As you begin this journey with us, we pray that each step helps you grow in faith and feel connected to our church family. At St. Mark, we lovingly refer to our members as disciples, united in our mission to serve Christ and our community.

Baptism by immersion is a sacred ordinance commanded in Scripture. All who repent and accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord should be baptized as they are physically able and have the opportunity (Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 8:26–38). Baptism is an outward expression of an inward spiritual transformation—a symbol of death, burial, and resurrection. Through baptism, we publicly declare that we have died with Christ and have been raised with Him to live a new life (2 Corinthians 5:17; Acts 10:47–48; Romans 6:4).
At St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, baptisms are typically held on the first Wednesdays before the 7pm Bible Study service.
The Right Hand of Fellowship at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church is usually extended on the Saturday before the second Sunday of each month during the 6pm service. During this special moment, the Pastor, clergy, and church leadership will formally welcome new disciples, signifying your commitment and connection to the St. Mark church family. After receiving the Right Hand of Fellowship, you will gain the rights and privileges associated with your discipleship status.
