Our Mission
Empower our youth
To support the church by empowering the youth of SMMBC through academic achievement, personal growth, and the development of essential
life skills needed for success beyond high school.
Celebrate achievement
To acknowledge, celebrate, and recognize the educational achievements and academic accomplishments of all youth of SMMBC.
Provide opportunities
To provide scholarships that offer vital opportunities for the youth of
SMMBC to pursue higher education and develop the skills required for
continued success in the workforce and beyond.
Applying for Scholarships
Scholarships play a crucial role in alleviating some of the financial burdens associated with higher education and reducing the need for excessive student loans. To apply for these scholarships, the youth of SMMBC must:
- Be a member of SMMBC
- Be a graduating high school senior or a returning college student
- Be actively involved in church, school, and community activities
